ETHER

Ether is a second year assignment at WdKA where we were asked to create an avatar for a game. We had the freedom to approach it in any way we wanted, so I decided to take a non-traditional route.

I took photos of myself walking and then animated the character’s head on top of those images, distorting it to create a surreal effect. I’ve always wanted to experiment with animating real images instead of drawings something closer to stop-motion or using the puppet tool and this project gave me the perfect opportunity to explore that idea.
